Congratulations! You have decided that you are ready to get into the best shape of your life and be a part of a community of like-minded people. Now it’s time to book a free consultation with a professional coach to see if we are a good fit.


We want to know more about you, your life, why you want to get fit and where we fit into the picture, we want to know what we can do to hold you accountable and how we can develop a plan of action to ensure you get and stay fit for life!



PERSONAL TRAINING

We are not just a group exercise class or a boot camp facility. After your consultation, you will enroll into our Foundations Program. These 1-on-1, or 2-on-1 training sessions with your personal coach are designed to instill competency in the numerous movements utilized in our group classes, teach proper eating habits, explain how to perform maintenance on your body, and will properly prepare you for the demands of group classes.

Learning functional movements that are necessary for improved fitness takes time and practice, as does improving your mobility, endurance, speed and power.

We used to throw people into group classes right away, but we found this to be a recipe for failure. Members weren’t prepared; they didn’t move well; they didn’t understand their capabilities; they over-trained; they got injured. Or they were simply too intimidated to even show up to a class. Improving your fitness is a slow process. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses when they walk through our doors.

It’s all about you! When you are first starting out, it is important that we learn if you have any limitations, weaknesses, or injuries. With personal training, you can move at your own pace and pave the road for long-term success, under the watchful eye of a great coach.

The point is, we all have different needs when we start a new strength and conditioning program. It doesn’t make sense to jump directly into group classes before you have properly learned the movements. So, at Desert CrossFit, by the time you progress to group classes, you’ll have a good understanding of 20-30 different movements, and you will know exactly how to scale each one if you’re not yet able to master everything.

We want to give you all of the tools you need to excel, so that by the time you get to group classes, you’ll show up feeling comfortable and confident!


GROUP CLASSES

Once you have demonstrated competency in the functional movements and you have met our graduate benchmarks, you then may move on to our group classes.

In our group classes, the focus will be on training to the margins and increasing your work capacity. The pace will be fast but you will be fully prepared after completing your Foundations Program. In your class, other like-minded individuals, also seeking the most effective training in the world, will surround you. Our coaches are world class and they will lead you to a level of fitness greater than you can possibly imagine!



REFRESHER PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS

At Desert CrossFit, we offer a hybrid model of group classes and personal training. The membership you choose will determine how frequently you will continue to meet with your personal coach.

As you progress, your goals will change and other challenges will arise. We want to make sure that you get the expert coaching, guidance, support, motivation and accountability you need to safely push yourself and see amazing results.
